Journal Making : 8th September, Bakewell
Journal Making : 8th September, Bakewell
Slow down, get creative, and leave with a journal you'll treasure.
Welcome the changing season and join me for an evening of creativity as you transform a beautiful old book into a one-of-a-kind journal.
You'll create a notebook that's as beautiful as it is practical – perfect for capturing thoughts, ideas, dreams or everyday moments. It’s grown-up, back to school, new stationery vibes!
Workshop Details
Date: Tuesday 8th September 2026
Time: 6:30pm - 8:15pm approx (please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop starts)
Venue: Thornbridge Taproom
Address: Riverside Brewery, Buxton Road, Bakewell, DE45 1GS
Parking: Free onsite parking up to 4 hours. You MUST enter your vehicle registration on the touch screen inside the taproom to avoid fines.
Accessibility: The event area is up a flight of stairs with no ramp, lift or alternative step free access. However, the taproom provides designated disabled parking, a fully accessible disabled toilet and flat-level, wheel-friendly access throughout the seating and bar areas.
Refreshments: Drinks & delicious pizza available for purchase at the venue. A discount code will be provided on booking for the pizza. I’d advise arriving early if you want pizza as the kitchen closes at 8pm and greasy pizza fingers and paper don’t mix well!
Whether you come on your own, with a friend or in a group, you'll spend a relaxing couple of hours creating something beautiful.
No experience is needed, I'll guide you through every step, and there's no pressure to be "crafty". This workshop is all about enjoying the process, taking time for yourself and connecting with others over a shared creative experience.
